·          WHAT IS A HOT AIR BALLOON?

A Hot Air Balloon contains: 

Basket: It is constructed with willow and cane. It carries pilot and passengers.  

Envelope: It is made of rip-stop nylon, we blow with fan.  

Burner: The heart of the balloon is the burner, usually rigged on a rigid brace over the pilot’s head and controlled by means of a hand valve. Hot air balloons use liquid propane as the lifting gas. By heating the air inside the balloon (with blasts from the burner), the pilot makes that air less dense (lighter) than the outside air, and the balloon rises. As the internal air-cools, the balloon becomes heavier, and descends.  

·          HOW A BALLON FLY? 

By a simple principle of physics, we know that hot air weight is less than the cold air. In Reality, we don’t fly in the air, but float in the air. We warm up the balloon in stable and balanced way. 

·          THE FLIGHT 

We will meet you with our team on the take off field. Afterwards, we inflate the balloon. Of course, you can also help us. When the balloon is ready to fly, you can come inside the basket, and then your adventure begins. The timings are one and half-hour depending on wind. .

A Balloon fly is always an adventure, we know take off filed but we never know the land place. We are in constant communication with radio, mobile telephone, GPS with our chasing team, who follow us with 4x4 car. Their mission is to find the balloon landing.We will do an "aerial baptism" with our passengers. We will offer drank and wonderful aeronautical breakfast and finally our passengers receive a diploma, signed by our pilot and it certifies their participation in the flight. After completion of the flying, we will back to our meeting point in our 4x4 car. 

·          WHERE?

In Madrid, we fly close to the mountains and also above the Segovia city. We can also fly wherever you want, when it is technically possible.  

·          TIMING 

It is possible for us to fly all over the year. Even in winter also we can fly. We will start early in the morning so as to avoid the heat.  

·          CLOTHINGS 

Usually we fly between 1000' and 2000' feet high and the temperature at this altitude is very similar of ground. You need sportswear and don’t forget your photo/video cameras.

 ·          WHO CAN FLY? 

Everybody can fly above the 6 years old.

The Hot Air balloons are safe to travel. Our pilots are authorised and certified by Spanish Civil Aviation Department. The Hot air balloons are considered as an aircrafts with registration number. They controlled every 100 hrs fly and they have the insurance.

Adults : 140 Euros/passenger

Children (below the 11 years) : 90 Euros

A group consists of 4 members. If you come alone also, we will make the group for you. For every 4 passengers we are offering 10% discount. We offer exclusive flights for two people with a cost of 475 Euros. In addition to the flying you will get Spanish aeronautical breakfast with digging of the land and you will get certificate.
